Operation Xcel is a 21st Century Community Learning Center nonprofit organization. We provide underserved students with opportunities to participate in academic and enrichment programs. Partnerships with community schools, employment of skilled educators and administrative staff, recruitment of passionate volunteers, and the support of dedicated community advocates are paramount to our success. These collaborative relationships help us accomplish our mission to equip youth academically, socially, physically, and emotionally through future-focused afterschool, summer, and mentorship programs. We are inspired, encouraged, and motivated by the following accomplishments: - 7 sites: 4 middle schools, 1 elementary school, and 2 K-8 sites - 3,000+ children served in the last 18 years - 90% of students demonstrated academic growth in reading, math, and science - 130,736+ direct service hours provided - 800 students across Guilford County received direct services Operation Xcel serves locations in Greensboro, Stokesdale, High Point, and Jamestown. We are committed to those we serve and aspire to reach more students and families across Guilford County.
